Home ... Bible Analysis / Dating (page 2)
EXAMPLE 1- BIBLE DISPLAY SCREEN Let's start at the 'end', so you can see how I use the information. I wrote special software to use the data. Here's the main screen that combines Bible text, various verse groupings, analytical results and my own study notes and analyses. All by database query.

Illustration below:
[1] Bible book selection. Books are query-based and any grouping. Viewable here are Mark, a couple of 'Q' versions and John-Signs.
[2] Above the #2 is what I call 'Dial-A-Date'. By moving either the BCE or CE slider, you can alter the book listings (per their estimated dates). Additionally, only verses that match the dating criteria will be displayed.
[3] This is the verse text area. Optional gray-levels reflect estimated dating (bright=early; dark=late). They can also be colored relative to best author-match.
[4] Includes my own notes, Darby, and any matching mapping, history, studies or analysis references.
[5] Various alternative views of the text, dating and analysis.

Example 1

EXAMPLE 2- ANALYSIS INTEGRATION Same screen below, but right-side:

Illustration below:
[1] The 'SynX_YYY' refers to synoptic groupings. The chapter syntax (Mat 5) has an estimated dating of 76ce. Verse 1 syntax has an estimated date of 65ce
[2] Here, the verse has abnormal authorship values. However the alternative authors have been checked with no one better.
[3] This verse is 'non-conforming' and doesn't match Matthew's syntax style. It more closely matches James and Paul (early) for an average 'date' of 79. At bottom are key words that are monitored relative to estimated date occurance.
[4] These are some of my notes from the analytical patterns etc.
[5] Verse numbers are color coded for quick identification. Here non-conforming.
